Description

Inspired by the iconic Blair Witch legend, this game expands the mythos with a new story set years after the original film.

You play as Ellis, a former police officer on the search for a missing boy. With only your loyal dog Bullet at your side, you push deeper into the Black Hills Forest, where the woods twist memories, warp time, and prey on your fears. As the forest closes in, you will uncover fragments of Ellis’s troubled past and face a presence that watches you from just beyond the treeline – waiting for you to lose yourself in the darkness.

Modern-day masters of horror Bloober Team channel the series’ signature tension and psychological dread, delivering a chilling journey into the heart of the Black Hills Forest.

Game Features:

  • Solve the Mystery – Investigate the disappearance of a young boy using the tools at your disposal (camera, cell phone, flashlight) to survive the nightmares that come your way.

  • Your Sanity Against Her Curse – Navigate a living, shifting forest filled with supernatural dangers. The way you react when in peril will determine what you ultimately learn about yourself.

  • A True Best Friend – Your trusted canine sidekick, Bullet, is always by your side. You can pet him and feed him treats, ortreats or choose to discipline him if he wanders off. How you treat him directly impacts your story.

Nothing in the woods is scarier than my own sense of direction after one wrong turn down a backwoods road at night. The path disappears, and my memory of it fades even faster.

I literally finished this entire game in one single sitting because the atmosphere and the story are so gripping that I just couldn't put it down. :D It completely sucks you into the woods and plays mind games with you

If Outlast and Layers of Fear had a baby, this would come out of it. I got lost a few times and the ending was a bit too long for my liking, but overall a decent game that had me on the edge of my seat. 7.5/10

Overall it’s a decent game. The beginning is honestly really strong and the best part of the whole game is definitely Bullet. I was actually surprised by how much you can do with the dog and I really liked the bond

another excellent game from the Bloober team, once again proving that they can be trusted with adapting preexisting IPs into expansive and immersive virtual spaces while still remaining faithful to the original story.

The game has a great atmosphere and the forest ambiance complements the horror element. The interaction with the doggo was cute and meaningful. The last section in the Blair witch house was really good and well paced.
