About the Game

In a twisted realm ruled by religious extremism, devastating F5 tornadoes, and roaring Ford Sierras, you assume the role of Boulder, an undercover operative embedded in a mission like no other. Your target: the Bahnsen Knights, a fanatical, high-octane cult led by a mysterious prophet. As deception and danger close in, you must navigate lies, loyalty, and lightning-fast street justice to uncover the truth behind the vanishing of a trusted ally.

Who are the Bahnsen Knights?
The Bahnsen Knights aren’t just a cult—they’re a convoy of chaos, tearing across the highways and hinterlands fueled by fanatic faith and turbocharged Ford Sierras. Under the spell of their magnetic leader Toni, they preach salvation through speed and claim to perform “route exorcisms” to cleanse the world. But what’s their true purpose? And why is paranormal investigator Lou Hill being held prisoner in the trunk of a blacked-out sedan?

An enigmatic leader
Toni, the self-proclaimed prophet of the Bahnsen Knights, preaches that Hell isn’t beneath us—it’s hovering overhead. Once a used-car salesman with a gift for gab, he now commands a fleet of the fanatical. Your closest confidant in the Agency, agent Cupra, was deep in an investigation on him—until Cupra vanished without a trace. Was it Toni’s doing? Or is something far more sinister at play?

An undercover agent
Years of covert ops have hardened you, but nothing prepared you for the psychological toll of this assignment. Infiltrating the Bahnsen Knights means embracing their madness, earning their trust, and surviving their brutal rituals—all while clinging to your identity. This mission isn’t just professional. It’s personal. Can you survive long enough to expose Toni’s secrets and bring him down?

A Pixel Pulps adventure
Bahnsen Knights is a self-contained chapter and the third installment in the acclaimed Pixel Pulps series. Crafted by novelist Nico Saraintaris and artist Fernando Martinez Ruppel, each title blends gripping storytelling with striking visuals, drawing inspiration from 1950s pulp fiction and the pixelated aesthetic of 1980s home computers. The trilogy includes Mothmen 1966, Varney Lake, and Bahnsen Knights.

Like every entry in the Pixel Pulps universe, Bahnsen Knights delivers an immersive, accessible story experience crafted for anyone who appreciates bold narratives and vivid imagination.

The third in the Pixel Pulps series, sharing the same world as the previous ones (although this one feels more independent), might be the most fascinating and intriguing of the bunch, especially due to the amazing

This is easily the best of the Pixel Pulps. Deliciously atmospheric, well-written and oozing with style. I only wish it was a bit longer, but what's there is more than worth the price of admission. Also, the minigames

Good atmosphere and writing BUT The save function was bugged. It would save correctly but after returning ingame the graphics would not display correctly (or at all) so had to quit (with ALT F4 mind you) every time.

Gasoline & Static Bahnsen Knights is what happens when a doomsday cult gets really into muscle cars and weather metaphors. You’re undercover, stuck in tornado country with a group that thinks God speaks through

With the exception of the Via Crucis Solitaire minigame that I hated with every fiber of my being, I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Unfortunately beating the world's worst minigame (it's 95% luck/RNG and not even

Another great pixel pulp game. Great vibe and story. Enjoyed it very much except that last achievement with the solitaire game. Absolutely unnecessary. 40 mins later and I haven't won. I do not mind a mini game that is
