About the Game

Set five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England, Atomfall plunges you into a survival-action experience rooted in real historical events.

Step into a quarantined, alternate reality of rural Britain, where nature reclaims the land and forgotten secrets fester. As a lone survivor, you’ll scavenge for vital resources, craft weapons, barter with enigmatic factions, and confront both human and supernatural threats hiding beneath the surface.

Crafted by Rebellion—the acclaimed studio behind *Sniper Elite* and *Zombie Army*—Atomfall blends post-apocalyptic tension with folk horror to challenge you to uncover the truth behind a cover-up that changed the fate of a nation.

Unfold a Living Mystery: Discover the hidden threads of a complex narrative through exploration, dialogue, forensic investigation, and intense encounters. Your decisions shape the story, revealing consequences that ripple across the world.

Survive by Any Means: Resources are scarce and danger is everywhere. Scavenge abandoned buildings, craft survival gear and improvised weapons, and fight to stay alive in a land that wants you gone.

Combat Under Pressure: Ammunition is rare—choose your shots wisely. Combine precision shooting with brutal melee encounters, and manage your stamina and heart rate to land that decisive strike with a crowbar, knife, or trusty cricket bat.

A Beautiful, Broken World: Rolling green hills, sleepy villages, and misty forests mask a landscape of ruin and dread. Traverse cult-occupied ruins, ancient caves, hidden bunkers, and irradiated zones in a richly detailed open world that feels hauntingly familiar—yet utterly wrong.

Inspired by History, Twisted by Fiction: Reimagining the 1957 Windscale fire through the lens of sci-fi and folk horror, Atomfall merges Cold War paranoia with eerie British mythos to create a chilling alternate past that feels disturbingly real.

Random muddy textures everywhere, have you tried fixing it? what's holding you back to fix the game? I'm enjoying the game and a breathe of fresh air for post-apocalyptic games, but please show us some love for those

A nice little game that is a kind of a mix of Fallout and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. set in England. The game might feel a little short and the world a little small without the DLCs, other then that I liked it.

Great game. Very exploration and reading heavy, you have to read and pay attention to solve the puzzle of what you're doing and where you're going. The areas are beautiful and very well crafted. Reminded me a lot of

Finished it in less than 30hrs, it's a short and underwhelming game. You don't get quests, you have an endless list of, well, lists. The world is beautiful, but empty. The characters are caricatures. Atomfall, while

Atomfall is a beautiful, lovingly crafted homage to 20th century British sci-fi and horror - imagine Quatermass on steroids, with a side-order of The Wicker Man. Combat is satisfying (but dangerous enough to promote

Really good! Fallout: Britain essentially, with a big pinch of immersive sim in it, (i.e games like Thief, Dishonored, Prey). Perhaps a pinch of the Metro games too, as ammo is very scarce. Decent story, loads of fun
