Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land - Demo
Experience the beginning of *Atelier Yumia* with a special playable preview! This demo offers a curated segment of the game’s opening act, allowing players to step into Yumia’s journey and explore the world’s mysteries firsthand.
Important Information:
Some mechanics in the demo may differ slightly from the final release. Be sure to update to the latest version before transferring save data.
Achievements are not supported in the demo.
Save data compatibility: To transfer progress, the demo and full game must be played on the same system using the same account.
How to Transfer Steam® Demo Save Data:
To carry over your progress, two conditions must be met:
• Demo save data must exist on your system.
• No existing save file from the full game should be present on the same device.
Meeting these criteria will trigger a prompt at startup asking whether to import the demo save. Confirming the transfer copies the file to the full game’s directory. Once imported, achievements tied to story progress made in the demo will unlock accordingly.

- Real-Time Combat with Tactical Depth
Engage in dynamic real-time battles where positioning and item use define your success. Shift between two distinct attack ranges to access different skill sets and gain an edge in combat. Use Simple Synthesis on the go to craft tools for exploration or combat. Construct and customize bases using the Building system, furnishing them to your taste for both function and style.
Story:
Once, the Aladissian Empire flourished through alchemy, dominating its neighbors with unmatched advancement—until a sudden, unexplained disaster wiped it from history. Centuries later, alchemy is feared as a cursed art, labeled "evil" and forbidden.
Now, a solitary alchemist ventures into the abandoned ruins. Yumia Liessfeldt—haunted by her mother's death three years prior—discovers she hails from a lineage of alchemists. Full of unanswered questions, she sets out across the perilous land.
What caused Aladiss' fall?
Why is alchemy seen as a sin?
Is alchemy truly evil—or misunderstood?
Guided by instinct and echoes of the past, Yumia dares to uncover the forgotten truth buried in the continent’s ruins.
Note: All visuals are from a pre-release build. Final content may vary.

As with Ryza 3, I think open world doesn't suit the series. Not bad, just not my thing anymore. Maybe I'll finish it one day but I wasn't exactly hooked.
