Cozy. It's not the deepest game ever, but everything is just strong enough to elevate it above average for me. I think the biggest sticking point for recommendation is how much emphasis there is on collecting and
JRPG for people who don't really like the bad parts of JRPGs. Quick saves often. Grind is low. Semi-open world with encounters being visible on the overworld (choose to encounter). If you can get past the RPGXP-like
Great game. Reminiscent of other final fantasy games. It's short, doing a lot of exploring, unlocked all the extras the game took me about 15 hours. Paid $4, you just can't beat the price for a hit of that nostalgia.
It scratched an RPG itch. Don't expect a game of the year. The last fight is a bit disapointing, but I liked the gameplay and dialogues. Bought it on sale for 20hrs of fun...was worth it.
The backgrounds have no right to be this pretty. It can be a bit hard to navigate and be prepared to investigate every shiny. I have to take regular brakes due to vertigo. But I keep coming back for the atmosphere and
Enjoyed enough to finish one playthrough and start a second. Combat is not overly complex, but also not mindless. I kind of like the basic system, and think one step more involved would be perfect. Story is solid too.
