Fair Weather Studios proudly presents Ancient Frontier — a turn-based strategy RPG that thrusts players into the vast reaches of deep space in a distant future. Chart your own course as you explore, conquer, plunder, or bring freedom to the untamed edges of the cosmos.
Built upon the foundation laid by the studio's debut title, Bladestar, this universe expands dramatically — weaving together rival factions, treacherous corporations, cunning privateers, and sprawling galactic governments into one epic narrative. Command enormous fleets of capital ships and support vessels as you carve your path through the layered, intrigue-filled story of Ancient Frontier — where the future of warfare is forged.

Engaging dynamic initiative-driven turn-based combat
A roster of more than 35 distinct ships at your command
Shape your strategy by unlocking powerful technologies through a deep and expansive Tech Tree
Two primary factions alongside three additional sub-factions
Vast, intricately designed space battlefields to dominate
Three distinct resource types to carefully balance and manage
A wide array of weapon systems and unique abilities to master in battle
The frontier awaits — will you rise to protect it?

I like turn based tactical games, so I probably enjoyed this game more than many will, but I can't recommend it due to two major issues. The primary issues I have with the game are: The game / combat is a grind The game
For a indie developer, and if you can get it at a discount, this is very fun game to have. Don't get it for the storyline and dialogue, you would be wanting. Amazingly the soundtrack is very nice to listen to. I do hope
