Discover More About Colorful Colorado

Dive deeper into this remarkable state and uncover everything it has to offer, from its extraordinary landscapes to its bustling industries and vibrant cities.

Nature

Few places in North America can rival the sheer variety and uniqueness of Colorado's natural scenery. Lush emerald national forests give way to striking red rock formations bursting from the ground at the iconic Garden of the Gods, making it nearly impossible to stay focused on deliveries when such natural wonders surround you. Make sure to stop at the scenic viewpoint in Ouray — affectionately known as the Switzerland of America — for a stunning panoramic view of this charming Victorian-era mining town.

While the Rocky Mountains are Colorado's most celebrated natural feature, the state's eastern regions tell a very different story. Here, vast grasslands sweep across the landscape as part of the Great Plains, an enormous expanse stretching over eighteen hundred miles from north to south and more than five hundred miles from east to west across the North American continent.

Million Dollar Highway

Few roads in America command as much awe and respect as the Million Dollar Highway. Spanning approximately 25 miles (40 km) along U.S. Highway 550, this legendary stretch of road winds through soaring mountains, sweeping valleys, and dramatic gorges, consistently earning its reputation as one of the most spectacular drives in the entire nation. Its twisting, often treacherous path rewards brave drivers with absolutely jaw-dropping scenery at every turn.

But where does the name come from? Multiple fascinating legends surround this iconic route — some claim the construction cost reached a staggering million dollars per mile, while others insist the fill dirt used to build it contained a fortune's worth of gold ore. Either way, it's a road that truly lives up to its name.

Industries

Colorado's gold mining legacy runs deep, with an active mine located near Colorado Springs where drivers can haul vital mining equipment and waste rock to and from the site. The state is also dotted with numerous bottling plants producing and distributing a wide range of beverages, giving truckers plenty of cargo to deliver to destinations across the country.

With its deep commitment to preserving its natural beauty, Colorado leads the way in clean energy solutions. Home to the number one wind turbine manufacturing facility in the United States, the state keeps a steady stream of specialized components moving to wind farms nationwide. We have a feeling you'll be a BIG fan of this particular industry.

Agriculture is the backbone of Colorado's economy, with nearly half of the state's 66 million acres devoted to farms and ranches. From transporting hay bales to moving heavy farming machinery, truckers play an absolutely essential role in keeping this enormous industry running smoothly in Cowowado — so keep on moo-vin'!

Denver International Airport stands as one of the most significant economic engines in the region. Drivers will find an impressively detailed recreation of the airport, complete with Denver's famous horse statue. A fan-favorite highlight awaits truckers who get to deliver cargo to a drop-off point located inside the belly of a massive cargo aircraft.

Cities

Proudly known as the Mile High City, Denver offers drivers a richly detailed experience featuring accurate recreations of its most celebrated landmarks and industries. The city's road network has been faithfully reproduced, including the notorious "mousetrap intersection" — the complex interchange of I-25 and I-70 — a sprawling tangle of roads renowned for its unmistakable spaghetti-like design.

Nestled at the base of the iconic Pikes Peak lies Colorado Springs, the state's second most populous city and a treasure trove of unique attractions. Its crown jewel is undoubtedly Garden of the Gods Park, a National Natural Landmark showcasing an extraordinary 300 million years of geological history through its awe-inspiring towering red sandstone formations. Consistently ranked among the finest parks in the entire United States, it's a destination not to be missed — keep your eyes peeled for a hidden road that just might lead you straight to it.

This is probably my favorite state in the game. I like it so much that my main garage is in Denver, with owning all of the current map dlcs. The scenery is unmatched and the curvy roads are just fun to drive. 1000/10
