Description

Will you make it out alive against the relentless alien invasion? Alien Breed™ 2: Assault marks the second installment in the acclaimed Alien Breed™ series, delivering a hard-hitting science fiction arcade-shooter complete with a gripping narrative, waves of dangerously intelligent extraterrestrial enemies, devastating weaponry, and stunningly intricate environments — all brought to life through Epic Games' powerful Unreal® Engine 3. Step into the boots of Conrad, the vessel's Chief Engineer, as he pushes forward in his desperate struggle for survival across a catastrophically damaged spacecraft, under relentless siege from a merciless alien force. Your sole chance of making it out alive hinges on reactivating the colossal engines of the alien ship before total destruction becomes inevitable. Deep within the unfamiliar corridors of this hostile craft, with precious little time remaining, arm yourself and carve a path through the shadows in a raw battle to stay alive. Yet Conrad doesn't face just one threat. The ship harbors the flesh-hungry alien horde — and something far more mysterious lurks in the darkness, concealing its true motives and waiting patiently for the right moment to strike. Beyond the pulse-pounding single-player campaign and all-new "survivor" modes, players can also dive into intense, non-stop two-player online co-operative combat.

Anyone with a handheld like the Steam Deck should definitely give these Alien Breed games a try, even if you're not usually into isometric twin-stick shooters. It looks like a new game and has aged amazingly well. The

Now this is worse than the first game. The premise is the same, but now we have a companion... sorta. Same locked doors and hordes of mutants. A bit longer and because of that it gets boring in the last third of the

Glitch in mission 3 ruined my run. This game's not worth it to restart from chapter one so I just uninstalled it. Anyway, to avoid the glitch there is a door with "CORE" written before the entrance. Do not enter it!

Although, technically speaking it's almost the same as the 1st game, this one—especially towards the end—tends to be more of a frustration-fest than an actual challenge. During the first half, it's okay to save up ammo

Alien Breed 2: Assault is more of the same from the first game, which is both a selling point and its biggest flaw — the atmosphere is genuinely tense, and blasting through corridors in co-op is a good time, but the
