This first installment of an ambitious multi-chapter saga unfolds across more than a hundred years of ancient history. Feel the rage of the Persian Empire during the Ionian Revolt, rally your forces to protect Greece through the harrowing Greco-Persian Wars, celebrate the birth of democracy in Athens' golden era, and steel yourself against the brutal conflicts of the Peloponnesian War. Along the way, cross paths with towering historical figures — the formidable warrior queen Artemisia, the brilliant tactician Themistocles, and the courageous commander Brasidas — each rendered with exceptional voice performances and compelling storytelling.
Crafted by a dedicated team of seasoned Age of Empires developers — including the creative minds behind the celebrated Rome at War mod — Chronicles: Battle for Greece is an essential experience for strategy fans, history lovers, and anyone hungry for deeply immersive, character-driven adventures. The ancient world is calling.

I can proudly say its S tier DLC for sure. For the slide show, immersive voice acting is GREAT (Even though that id rather want the Spartan tone to be swapped with the Athenians.) Navy overhaul was cool too. Innovative
One of the best AOE 2 DE dlcs, really recommended if you are interested in Ancient Greek and Persia history, unique missions which are all connected together in an impressive way, your decisions affect your general
This DLC is really bad. For me, base building and the economy are the most exciting parts of the game. Yes, it was my mistake that I was so excited about the new civilizations and bought it without reading anything
Wow. This was absolutely incredible. From the storytelling, the music, the voice actors, the gameplay. It was amazing from start to finish. 100% the best campaigns I have played on AOE2. Enjoyed it x1000. Brilliant.
This was one of the best DLCs I have every played. Excellent voice acting, mission variety, historical context. Well worth the full price and even more so on sale. I wish this was the quality of the AOE 1 campaign
So far my favorate dlc. I loved every minute of it's story and it has inspired me to learn more about the history of the era. The missions were really varried and stood out so much against the rest of the series. I
