Description

In A Rose in the Twilight, harness Rose's unique ability to absorb blood and channel it into motionless objects. This act transforms colorless, lifeless objects into vivid red forms, restoring the essence of time within them. Alongside this power, you'll rely on a giant's immense strength to lift and hurl objects, carving a path forward through each obstacle.

Every stage presents itself as an intricate puzzle demanding to be unraveled. As you push further, the challenges grow increasingly demanding, yet the greater the danger faced, the more substantial the rewards reaped. Peel back the layers of each stage's solution as you journey deeper into the story's dark and haunting origins.

Key Features:
  • Color & Time - Progress hinges entirely on mastering both color and time, and Rose's extraordinary power places both of these critical elements firmly within your grasp.

  • Blood Memories - Scattered throughout the castle's corridors are remnants of blood, each one harboring the echo of a horrific death waiting to be uncovered.

  • Visual Storytelling - Gathering Blood Memories unlocks fragments of the past, revealed through a haunting series of vignettes assembled from each victim's final moments.

  • Live, Die, Repeat - Draw upon the combined abilities of both Rose and the giant to conquer each stage, but should death bring your journey to an abrupt end, tread carefully and avoid repeating the same fatal misstep.

'A Rose in the Twilight' truly lives up to its name—it's like a rose. It is undeniably beautiful, yet it also cuts deeply into the player. Just as one might lament the thorns on a rose but still take joy in the flower

The game has precision issues and feels clunky quite often... also there seems to be design oversights and small bugs that culminate in frustration or back tracking like you have 5 seconds to pick up the last

Great ambiance, amazing art, in-depth story, and (mostly) enjoyable gameplay. The only thing that was a recurring negative was that some puzzles were messy and annoying but what 2D puzzle platformed doesn't have those.

A good puzzle platformer with a moving story and a great aesthetic. It's got some jank but I couldn't help but love it. However, it is not a long game so I would definitely recommend getting it on a sale.

This game is an artistically beautiful experience riddled with that sort of dark but cute style I absolutely adore. The key reason to play this game is most definitely it's cute gothic art style but the story has a
