Description

A Hat in Time is an absolutely adorable 3D platformer where a young girl crafts magical hats to gain extraordinary abilities.

One girl, one spaceship, endless possibilities

Step into the shoes of a pint-sized, top-hat-wearing girl who travels the cosmos in A Hat in Time. Her voyage takes an unexpected turn when her fuel source — the precious Time Pieces — gets scattered across an unfamiliar planet. Now known as Hat Kid, she must leap, battle, and sew brand-new hats to explore every hidden corner of this strange world, recover her fuel, and get back on track. Along the way, she'll cross paths with the threatening Mafia of Cooks, the quirky birds of Dead Bird Studio, the eerie shadows lurking in Subcon Forest, and much more!

Train mysteries! Grand parades! Sneaking into a film studio?

No two missions in A Hat in Time feel the same! One moment you could be cracking the case of the Murder on the Owl Express, gathering evidence and questioning suspects, and the next you're leading the charge as band marshal in The Big Parade, or carefully sneaking your way through the bird-operated Dead Bird Studio!

Tiny adventurer, enormous worlds

Roam freely across 5 sprawling worlds packed with surprises waiting around every bend! True to her adventurous spirit, Hat Kid loves to scale and explore — no peak is too daunting for her. She can pull off multiple jump techniques, scale walls with ease, and swing across wide gaps with confidence!

Charming hats, enchanted yarn and clever badges

By tracking down rare magical yarn scattered throughout the world, Hat Kid can craft delightful hats with unique powers — including a witch hat that lets her brew explosive potions, and a ghostly wooden mask that grants her the ability to peer into hidden dimensions. Each hat can be further enhanced by equipping badges discovered, purchased, or traded with the colorful locals she meets!

Born from the community, built for the community

A Hat in Time got its start on Kickstarter, where it shattered expectations by raising nearly 10 times its original funding goal! To honor the passionate community that made it all possible, the game launches with complete modding support, Steam Workshop integration, a built-in screenshot mode, and plenty more!

If you've got a deck it's the PERFECT platformer to play on the go with a cute & unique artstyle with characters just as special as the places you'll go. Just know unless you play online you probably won't 100% this one

if you enjoy this game and are hesitant about the DLCs, i believe Seal the Deal is an absolute must-have. the majority of its negative reviews are just complaints about the difficulty of Death Wish, which is the entire

When you make challenges - be sure that you won't miss quite a ♥♥♥♥ ton of softlocks, gamebreaking bugs and sometimes broken physics (like Hat Kid getting "stuck" while literally just sliding down the road... a flat

I played this game a year after it came out on console. It was one of the only games I genuinely tried to 100% back in the day. Once I did I had waited years for the DLC to release on console and was overjoyed when it

You can't prove I spent a good amount of time kicking Mafia guys up the arse because I thought that was one of the missions. It took me a little while to get into A Hat in Time because I felt somewhat overwhelmed by the
