Description

A love letter to gaming's greatest era — "99Vidas" brings it all back!

Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, Final Fight, Battletoads… These legendary titles defined the golden age of the "beat 'em up" genre throughout the 80's and 90's. Drawing from the timeless essence of these classics, QUByte Interactive has crafted something truly special: "99Vidas".

Set in a modern-day world, "99Vidas" is a hard-hitting brawler that bridges the gap between gaming's iconic past and its exciting present. Dripping in 16-bit pixel art style and packed with nods to both legendary games and beloved 80's and 90's pop culture, the title masterfully blends nostalgic charm with contemporary gameplay mechanics — delivering the ultimate fusion of old-school heart and new-school polish.

Spanning 6 action-packed stages (with additional content on the way), the game sends players globe-trotting to battle overwhelming waves of dangerous enemies and punishing bosses. And you won't have to fight alone — bring up to 3 friends into the fray through both local and online co-op multiplayer.

🧢 Recommended, but ONLY for fans of the genre. The game has not bad animations, beautiful backgrounds and a soundtrack that tries rearrange the «SoR» motives, but the gameplay is.. meh. What with the chars attacks

It's brazilian. If "City of God" didn't make you racist, this will. The whole thing is more off than sunsoaked mayonnaise. Double Dragon starvation made me buy this. I think I got it nearly for free. Still feel ripped

This would be a great game if not for the cheap gang up tactics used late in the game where entire health bars are gone without any chance of recovery or reaction. You may as well just set down the controller at that
