Description

Governing a nation in the modern era demands far more than public appearances and policy speeches — it requires mastering the art of invisible power. The most consequential decisions happen far from the spotlight, and rarely within the bounds of conventional ethics.
4th Generation Warfare blends deep strategy with RPG mechanics, plunging you into the shadowy world of 21st century asymmetric conflict, where outmaneuvering your rivals behind the scenes is just as critical as open confrontation.

• Assume command of any nation in the contemporary world and assemble an elite team of specialists, deploying them across the globe to undermine enemy influence, sow instability, and cement your dominance.
• Leverage authentic 2D and 3D world maps to pinpoint rival nations' key installations, analyze the geopolitical landscape through specialized thematic map layers, and direct your agents through the actual streets and structures of the world's capitals and major cities using highly detailed urban maps.
• Engineer the downfall of foreign leaders — whether through popular uprisings or carefully orchestrated coups — by wielding influence and interference as your weapons. And never let your guard down; the same fate could just as easily befall you.

• Every character carries a distinct psychological profile, shaped and shifted by fear, temptation, and mounting stress as the situation evolves. Their mental state directly affects their operational effectiveness — and their vulnerability to being turned against you.
• Characters bring role-specific abilities to the table, to be deployed with careful timing: infiltrate secure locations, steal classified data, broker contracts, declare martial law, establish embassies, hack smartphones or servers, conduct investigations, place targets under surveillance, carry out assassinations, and more.
• Each operative can be outfitted with specialized gear and weaponry tailored to their mission, and every character carries a smartphone loaded with unique apps and capabilities.

• As a head of state, you command a covert team of field specialists — Diplomats, Spies, Hackers, Investigators, and more — sending them on assignments worldwide to assert your nation's dominance through espionage, geopolitical maneuvering, cyber operations, media warfare, and economic pressure. When subtlety fails, full-scale military operations remain at your disposal.
• Victory is achieved either by outlasting every other leader or by topping the rankings across five core pillars: diplomacy, military conquest, economy, popularity, and character experience.
• Expansive and layered, 4th Generation Warfare offers an extraordinary breadth of strategic avenues to pursue. Where you draw your lines — and whether you choose to cross them — is entirely your call.

• Play entirely on your terms — choose between Real-Time and Turn-Based gameplay, go solo or compete alongside up to 12 players, and select from competitive or cooperative modes.
• Craft your own ruleset by adjusting game duration, limiting actions per turn, introducing special victory conditions, and adding bonus characters. You can even hand-pick and customize your preferred team lineup.
• Dive into Career, Government, and Sandbox modes, or chase glory on the global online leaderboard.

• Contextual tooltips embedded throughout the game ensure you always have instant access to detailed explanations of actions, items, and mechanics.
• A dedicated "Todo" menu consolidates critical alerts, mission progress tracking for all your operatives, and recommended next steps to keep your strategy on course.
• A real-time display of success probabilities and the cumulative effect of bonuses and penalties empowers you to weigh your options and make sharp, calculated decisions.

Personally, I like the geopolitical theme of the game. However, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The game has you micromanaging every character under your command; instead of giving characters a mission and off they

Game has potential but after lots of testing and giving feedback lot of core things never came to be and instead three payed DLCs over the course of 4 months. Base game needs heavy focus and every Eversim game is proof

Really good basis for a game. Spy vs Spy and geo-political simulation all in one. The only downside to this game is of course the bugs and crashes. War seems to break out randomly for no reason. I had North Korea

TLDR: This is not the turn based geopolitical simulator/RPG you are looking for. This is a proof of concept try of something that could have been. It is really disappointing but no, do not be tempted. The fun isn't

They pumped out DLC before they even released the game. That pretty much says it all. Whether I like the game or not doesn't really matter when Eversim is THIS blatant in disrespecting their customers. Really disgusting.
