ARC Raiders Outfits Ranked
When it comes to fashion in ARC Raiders, every player has a different opinion on which outfits look the best. As of writing, the game features more than 30 skins, though some are no longer available, like the G-Suit that was originally offered as a pre-order reward.
After going through the current selection, I put together what I see as the top 10 outfits in the game. If your personal favorite is missing, that does not automatically mean it is a weak design. It could simply come down to personal preference, or I may have missed a detail that makes it stand out for you.
This list is not meant to be the final word on ARC Raiders fashion. It is simply a ranking based on the skins I find the most visually impressive. To decide which outfits deserved a place, I focused on a few key points:
Modularity: Outfits that offer more room for mixing, matching, and customization naturally ranked higher.
Style Impact: I looked at the overall impression of each skin and how well its different parts come together visually.
Popularity: This was not the most important factor, but it still mattered. If a skin is widely used, there is usually a reason players are drawn to it.
I also paid attention to how naturally each outfit fits within the ARC Raiders world. Designs that match the game’s retro sci-fi atmosphere usually leave a stronger impression than ones that feel out of place.
Another thing that mattered was how well a skin works during actual gameplay. Some outfits look great when viewed in menus, but lose some of their appeal once you see them in motion. I wanted to highlight skins that still look strong across different maps, lighting conditions, and movement.
With all of that in mind, this ranking is meant to be fun, open to debate, and maybe even spark a few disagreements. With that out of the way, let’s get into how these ARC Raiders outfits earned their spots.
Check out some of our most popular ARC Raiders services:
1. Driftcoat
It is one of the two pilot-inspired outfits in ARC Raiders, and to me, it is clearly the stronger of the pair.
The skin combines a bulky jacket, a sleek helmet, and a good amount of customization, and the whole look comes together extremely well.
Even though it is not overloaded with small details or accessories, the design still feels polished and complete.
Its silhouette feels well-proportioned, the helmet does not look oversized, and even the breathing tube blends naturally into the overall concept.
All three color variants are appealing, though the first two tend to be the ones players choose most often.
A lot of players stay away from the first version because it stands out more in matches, but visually, the color palette works incredibly well.
Why Driftcoat deserves the top spot:
Almost flawless: It is modular, visually striking, and popular for a reason.
Perfectly on-theme: It embraces the retro look of ARC Raiders without going over the top.
The coat itself: The oversized jacket is the centerpiece of the design and gives the skin most of its appeal.
Torpedo comes close to taking first place, but Driftcoat has a relaxed, natural sense of style that very few other skins can match.
It is not only one of the best-looking outfits in ARC Raiders, but one of the standout cosmetic designs in the genre as a whole.
2. Torpedo
Torpedo stands out as one of the strongest skins in ARC Raiders right now, and it is also among the most popular choices in the game.
Its customization options are a big part of its appeal. Players can swap out the headgear, take off the chest armor, or remove the sleeves for a cleaner and more mobile-looking style.
In its standard version, the outfit almost has a superhero-like presence.
The color variants are another strong point. For players who prefer a lower-profile appearance, the darker options work well for blending into the surroundings.
Since the day it was added, Torpedo has remained a favorite among the community.
Why players rate Torpedo so highly:
Very flexible: The outfit offers plenty of room to adjust the look to match personal preference.
Visually striking: It has a bold design that instantly makes the character feel more powerful.
Widely used: It is one of the skins you will see most often in matches.
The developers did an excellent job with this one. The only small criticism is that some players would probably like to see a few brighter color variants.
3. Macrame
While Boonie only suggests a ninja-like style, Macrame goes all in on that identity.
The outfit takes strong influence from Eastern-inspired design. It features a hat that resembles samurai headwear, armored shoulder pieces, hakama-style trousers, and even a wakizashi to complete the theme.
Smaller details, like the scrolls and the sake bottle attached to the backpack, make the design feel even more complete.
Even if it does not fully align with ARC Raiders’ retro sci-fi atmosphere, the outfit looks far too good to place any lower.
Why Macrame stands out so much:
Strong cultural inspiration: It fully embraces an Eastern warrior and ninja-inspired look.
Rich in detail: Even without much modularity, the outfit stays visually engaging.
Great color variants: The blue-and-white version with gold accents is especially impressive.
This skin is also a common sight among PvP-focused players. If someone wearing Macrame is watching you closely, there is a good chance a fight is about to start.
4. Bog Walker
Bog Walker is one of the most instantly recognizable skins in ARC Raiders. The developers clearly have a thing for oversized helmets, and this outfit pushes that design choice further than almost any other.
Its silhouette is hard to forget. The huge helmet, thigh-high boots, and the underwater camera hanging from the belt all help give it a look that stands out immediately.
What makes it even more interesting is how different it can feel with a few changes. Remove the helmet and use the white-and-blue color variant, and the outfit suddenly comes across as much lighter, more playful, and unexpectedly stylish.
The cropped jacket helps reinforce that fashion-forward feel, which creates a nice contrast with the darker and more atmospheric base design.
What makes Bog Walker stand out:
Distinctive silhouette: It has a shape that is almost impossible to mistake for anything else.
Versatile style: Depending on how you customize it, it can feel serious, fashionable, or even a bit fun.
Truly original: Very few skins in the game have a look that feels this different.
Thanks to its bold design and the variety it offers through customization, Bog Walker easily deserves the fourth spot in the ranking.
5. Hi-Tech Hiker
Rounding out the top five is Hi-Tech Hiker, a free outfit introduced with the Cold Snap update. Even though it costs nothing, it holds its own against plenty of premium cosmetics.
The skin includes several standout survival-inspired details, such as a solar panel mounted on the shoulder and a flare gun attached to the arm. The goggles also give the outfit a strong futuristic edge.
The more you look at it, the more the design feels like it tells a story. Every part of the outfit suggests a character built to endure tough environments.
Its color variants are also very well done and match the concept nicely.
So why does it land in fifth place instead of higher? Once the modular pieces are removed, the clothing underneath feels a bit too simple compared to some of the skins ranked above it.
Why Hi-Tech Hiker works so well:
Strong visual storytelling: It is one of the best skins at suggesting a clear character concept.
Excellent color variants: Each available palette fits the outfit naturally.
Highly modular: The added gear feels purposeful and gives the design more personality.
When fully customized, Hi-Tech Hiker can easily become a favorite for many players. It blends unusual survival-themed details with a look that still feels believable within the world of ARC Raiders.
6. Sforza
Sforza is one of the signature skins of ARC Raiders and shows up heavily in the game’s promotional art.
If you had to capture the overall style of ARC Raiders in a single outfit, Sforza would probably be one of the best examples.
Its design feels like it came straight from an 80s sci-fi comic. Depending on the color variant, it can make your character look like either the fearless hero or the central antagonist.
Even though it is one of the game’s free skins, Sforza still provides a solid amount of customization, with the headgear in particular having a big impact on the final look.
Its biggest drawback is that unlocking every visual option requires reaching level 75, which takes a fair amount of time.
Why players like Sforza so much:
Iconic look: It is one of the most recognizable and visually distinct outfits in the game.
Strong customization: The helmet options add a lot to the skin’s identity.
Free to obtain: It stands out as one of the best free cosmetics available.
Sforza first appeared back when ARC Raiders had a stronger PvE focus. Even now, it remains one of the game’s most iconic and enduring skins.
7. Boonie
If you want your character to look like a futuristic city ninja, Boonie is an excellent pick. Players using this outfit often give off the impression that they are fully committed to the Mobility skill path.
One of the best things about this skin is its silhouette. The fitted upper half combined with loose, high-waisted pants creates a really strong and balanced visual shape.
The boonie hat is the standout feature that pulls the whole design together and gives the outfit its distinct identity. The color options are also very effective, with the default version being especially appealing.
Its main weakness is that the look loses some of its impact when individual pieces are removed. Boonie feels less like a mix-and-match outfit and more like a design meant to be worn as one complete set.
What makes Boonie stand out:
Strong silhouette: It looks like something you would see in a premium futuristic techwear collection.
Well-composed design: All of the outfit’s elements fit together seamlessly.
Bonus charm: The hat for Scrappy is not a major factor, but it is a fun extra touch.
This is a great outfit for players who like that sleek, street-ninja style. For anyone who does not enjoy that aesthetic, though, it may come across as a little too much.
8. Misthorn
Misthorn is one of the newer skins in ARC Raiders, and it stands out for being both eerie and visually impressive. Wearing it gives your character the appearance of some mysterious cult-like figure.
The outfit includes a dramatic cape and a nicely designed belt area, but the real centerpiece is without question the mask.
That gold mask, with its large horns wrapped in cloth, immediately draws the eye. It looks like something pulled straight from a folk-horror setting.
The problem is that, once you look beyond the headpiece, most of the outfit’s impact starts to fade. The chest and leg sections are much more understated by comparison.
It would have been even stronger with a few more ritual-inspired details around the waist or some smaller accessories to build out the theme. As it is, the mask ends up doing most of the heavy lifting.
Why Misthorn stands out:
Outstanding headpiece: It has one of the most unforgettable helmets in the game.
Distinct theme: The design feels like it belongs in a folk-horror movie.
Intimidating presence: Spotting this skin lurking in the shadows during PvP is enough to make anyone uneasy.
Misthorn is still a strong outfit overall. It just feels like it needed a little more detail across the full set to challenge the skins placed above it.
9. Voltedge
Voltedge was among the earliest premium skins added to ARC Raiders. For players who want a look that blends tactical gear with futuristic engineering, this outfit hits that mark well.
Although the color palette is fairly bright, the design still gives off a military-inspired feel. That impression becomes even more noticeable with the second color variant.
Details like the headset with a microphone and the tech equipment strapped to the arms make the character seem like more than an ordinary scavenger from the surface. The chest armor also looks a bit like a ballistic vest, which adds to the tactical style.
The main weakness of the outfit is the hose. While it can be removed, taking it off makes the overall design feel a little less complete and slightly less balanced.
What makes Voltedge notable:
Tactical edge: The alternate color scheme makes it look like gear from a retro-futuristic military squad.
Unexpectedly approachable: For whatever reason, players using this skin often seem less aggressive.
Customizable: It offers decent modularity, though the hose is usually better left off.
Voltedge fits naturally within the retro-futuristic world of ARC Raiders. Even so, compared with some of the stronger skins in the game, it comes across as a bit simpler, which is why it lands near the bottom of the ranking.
10. Riposta
Riposta has a strong concept, but the final outfit feels slightly incomplete. At first it comes across as stylish and distinctive, yet the longer you look at it, the more it seems like it needed a bit more to fully deliver on its idea.
The mask, chest armor, and shoulder pieces clearly push a fencing-inspired design. The upper half looks sharp and memorable, while the lower half feels much more plain by comparison. Because of that, the outfit can come across as a little unfinished.
It would have been a nice touch if the developers had included something like an épée at the waist or another accessory tied more directly to fencing. Instead, the design mostly relies on a waist pouch and a simple hose, which do not add much personality.
Even with those weaknesses, Riposta is still a good-looking skin. The color schemes work well, and the overall theme is interesting. It just feels like the design stopped short of reaching its full potential.
What stands out about Riposta:
Clear fencing theme: The outfit gives the impression of someone who adapted fencing gear into combat-ready equipment.
Strong color palettes: Both of the main color variants look very good.
Intimidating presence: The plain oval mask gives the character a slightly eerie look, which works especially well in PvP.
There are definitely weaker cosmetics in ARC Raiders. For players who prefer outfits that are cleaner and less overloaded with detail, Riposta may actually be a very appealing choice.
